Service process at Eightpins
Contact your bicycle dealer together with the purchase invoice. He/she makes an initial error analysis and, if necessary, contacts our service team in Austria.
You can also check our service videos online to see if your seatpost simply needs a service or some oil.

All Eightpins seatposts are covered by the statutory warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase, which must be evidenced by proof of purchase.
The warranty is limited to repair or replacement.
Normal wear and tear, routine maintenance and improper assembly or use of the seat post are excluded from the guarantee / warranty.
All moving parts of the mechanics and the gas pressure spring are wearing parts and not part of the warranty.
The warranty claim assumes that the product is used as intended.
Any changes to the seat post will void the warranty. The user bears the risk of personal injury or property damage, including damage to the seat post and any other damage resulting from the modification or improper use of the seat post.
The assertion of warranty rights assumes that all information on assembly, handling and maintenance of the operating instructions has been complied with. The product must not have been modified or used in combination with incompatible parts or non-original Eightpins replacement or wearing parts.

NGS 2 Cargo Service & Maintenance
The Eightpins seat post has the advantage that the seat post tube can be removed and installed very quickly and the sliding bushings can be cleaned or replaced quickly. If the sliding properties deteriorate, the seat post can be quickly relubricated via a grease nipple in the outer sleeve. Small jobs such as cleaning and greasing the sliding bushings as well as changing the cable can be carried out by following the instructions. The prerequisite is an existing technical understanding and the correct tools.
